I could go on and on because once you really get into this game, there are so many big and small goals you'll think of. There are tons of different money making methods in the game for each skill. There are also tons of upgrades in the shop regarding different skills and combat, but you have to find a way to make money. You can also train fetching and crafting to make bows and arrows to train ranged. You can also train mining to get ore, then train smithing to make the ore into bars and then armor. You can use the fish you catch to train cooking, and the use those cooked fish to train combat. There are bosses which give the best gear in the game and it's a random chance you get it, so you just have to keep fighting them.įishing is a pretty basic skill you could start with.
I honestly don't remember when the game initially clicked for me, but once I started doing combat and going for end game gear, the grind was on.
It's funny you mention not finding a goal to strive towards because my problem with melvor and runescape is I find TOO MANY goals to strive towards. I stopped playing melvor a few months ago and started playing old school runescape again, but my melvor account was almost maxed with 99 in every skill. I'm sure there are threads on where to get started. They will be your best friends and they can help you out better than I can.
